Ocean City, MD Fall 2009

Fall is an amazing time of the year to be at the ocean. This was the first time I had been to Ocean City in 18 years. It was really nice and quiet since the crowds were gone. Suzanne and I had a great time and definitely want to go back again one day.

I just love the mood created by a sunset on a cold overcast day. This picture was one of my favorites, Suzanne and I were walking the beach in Assateague and I saw the lady with the dog silhouetted against the sunset and snapped a couple of shots.

Once a year dirty hippies (performance artists), suburbanties and half the homeless people in the city all come together for one spectacular event, Artscape! This year was a bit less crowded since they added Charles Street to the event. I never made my way to Bolton Hill due to running into people I know. I had a good time but really wished I would have charged my battery before I went because it died after about 15 photographs.

Dusted off the camera and the can of beans. Laying in the middle of the street with a softbox mounted on a stand right over my shoulder. I had to move the rig twice to avoid traffic.

New Gallery! – A close up look of the winter life on the banks of the gunpowder river. Sure winter is really not in full effect yet but summer is definitly gone. On a brisk late fall/early winter day these are the smaller things that you may not notice if you happen to be walking by.
